Cycle to Work Day is the UK’s biggest cycle commuting event. Every year since 2012 we’ve seen thousands of enthusiastic riders hit the streets to celebrate everyday cycling. All you need to take part is a bike – new or old – and the desire to ride. You can go solo or be the change your workplace needs and organise an event for you and your colleagues. Whatever you do, however far your ride – have fun!
How do I take part?
Previously we’ve asked riders to pledge the number of miles they plan to ride on the Cycle to Work Day website. This year, we’re pleased to announce that Cycle to Work Day will be running on Cyclescheme's Love to Ride community.
You can sign up with Facebook, Strava or simply by entering your details, and then connect a smartphone app so you can log their rides. All the info you need to register is on the Love to Ride website. Once signed up, you can invite friends and colleagues, and share experiences of trying out a commute on two wheels.
